A heated horse trailer can really make a difference in cold weather and in the winter months. Heated living quarters (LQ) are especially useful in the Northern States and in Canada. There are many different ways of heating a horse or livestock trailer, but some could put both you and your equine friends at risk.
The only safe and effective way to heat a horse trailer, is to use a properly installed, externally vented furnace. The external exhaust means that the waste gases will never enter the trailer. Safety should always come first, which is why all of our heating systems will always fail safe. All of our heaters and furnaces will run on propane or butane LPG, which is both widely and cheaply available.
Space Heating
Our gas fired furnaces mean that even if an electric hook up is unavailable your horse trailer will still be warm and comfortable. They are very energy-efficient too. Which means that heating your living quarters is surprisingly affordable. The great news is that you won’t have to sleep cuddling your dog to keep warm!
Water Heating
A water storage heater can make your living quarters a lot more liveable. Hot water or even a hot shower are what our Malaga water heater was designed to do. Enjoy home from home comforts even on the road with your horse or livestock.
